The website yomelyah.fr is an independent platform for Bible study—adhering to the principle of « Sola Scriptura » (the Bible and the Bible alone)—that is autonomous in both doctrinal and financial terms (being entirely self-funded). Although it shares much of the vocabulary and theological concepts associated with the Jehovah’s Witnesses religious movement, it presents major differences—such as a firm rejection of the authority of the movement’s centralized, global structure based in New York, which it regards as inconsistent with the Bible and the Christianity taught by Jesus Christ. Furthermore, on its companion blog (Medium Blog), the site denounces the Watch Tower’s commercialization of religion through its system of constructing and selling Kingdom Halls—properties sometimes sold even to non-Christian denominations...
