“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in lamentation, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory”

The verse 29, describes the signs before the « coming, » not the « presence, » of the Son of Man. According to verse 30, it will be King Jesus Christ who will come, this time in a visible way, through a worldwide vision, to settle accounts with all of humanity (Matthew 25:31-46). The rest of this study provides specific indications that we are in this brief period of signs before the (visible), the sign of the Son of man in heaven.
« Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken » (Matthew 24:29): Since the biginning of this period, there have been exceptional heavenly and atmospheric phenomena that have brought humanity into a reality never observed since then. The expression « Immediately after the tribulation of those days », seems to indicate a break in the prophetic narrative of Jesus Christ, which this time describes events which would announce the nearness of the end and the great tribulation.
By reading Matthew 24:4-22, from the beginning of the presence of Christ, in 1914 CE (option retained by the editorial line of this biblical site), to the great tribulation (in the second fulfillment, at the global scale), this period is relatively long, it is currently more than 110 years.
Furthermore, when Jesus Christ begins his description, from verses 4 to 6, it is written: « For these things must take place, but the end is not yet ». So that an observer of the events at the beginning of the presence of Christ, during the first and then the second world war, even until the beginning of the cold war, he was relatively further from the imminence of the end (the great tribulation). It would be in the time described in verses 4 to 6, see 7 and 8, where again, Jesus Christ said: « All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress » (Matthew 24:8).
Immediately after the tribulation of those days
Then after the description of these dramatic events, which would demonstrate the beginning of the presence of Christ (reigning as King, in the midst of his enemies (Psalms 2)) and which would announce the end of this system of things, in Matthew 24:4-28, this time, Jesus Christ begins to describe world events which would announce the nearness of the end or the great tribulation. This time, in addition to quoting Matthew 24:29-31, there will be a presentation of parallel quotes to this same description, in Mark and Luke. The description in Mark’s Gospel is quite similar to Matthew’s; however, regarding Luke’s Gospel, there are other, complementary descriptive details:
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in lamentation, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send forth his angels with a great trumpet sound, and they will gather his chosen ones together from the four winds, from one extremity of the heavens to their other extremity” (Matthew 24:29-31).
“But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will be falling out of heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then he will send out the angels and will gather his chosen ones together from the four winds, from earth’s extremity to heaven’s extremity” (Mark 13:24-27).
“Also, there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth anguish of nations not knowing the way out because of the roaring of the sea and its agitation. People will become faint out of fear and expectation of the things coming upon the inhabited earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But as these things start to occur, stand up straight and lift up your heads, because your deliverance is getting near” (Luke 21:25-28).

Extreme wildfires, fueled by intense droughts and heatwaves, have become a major cause of hazy skies around the world.
- Fires in Canada (2026): Intense fires reignited in Canada (notably in Ontario and the Northwest Territories). Smoke plumes crossed the North Atlantic, veiling the skies over parts of North America and Europe and reducing the amount of sunlight reaching the ground.
- The fire season in Europe (2025–2026): Spain, Portugal, and France experienced record-breaking fires. In August 2025 and throughout the summer of 2026, massive smoke clouds drifted over France, giving the sky an orange or grey-yellow, « apocalyptic » appearance that was visible as far as the west and south of the country.
- Major volcanic eruptions in 2025 and 2026
Several volcanoes along the Pacific Ring of Fire spewed massive columns of ash and sulfur dioxide (SO₂) directly into the upper atmosphere:
- The Anak Krakatau eruption (September 2026): The famous Indonesian volcano underwent a spectacular, continuous eruption. Its ash plumes reached altitudes of nearly 15 kilometers (50,000 feet), severely disrupting air traffic in Southeast Asia and dispersing sulfur aerosols toward the Indian Ocean.
- Ambae Volcano, Vanuatu (August 2026): This volcano produced a record-breaking explosion that propelled ash to an altitude of over 16 kilometers, penetrating directly into the base of the stratosphere.
- Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki (June 2025): Also located in Indonesia, this volcano spewed an ash column 11 kilometers high, triggering a sustained cycle of high-altitude particulate pollution.
- Saharan dust incursions
Although a seasonal phenomenon, the sirocco (a hot southerly wind) has repeatedly transported massive waves of Saharan sand to the European continent. Upon mixing with smoke from local wildfires, this dust creates a distinctive, opaque yellowish haze that blocks direct solar radiation.
Alteration of Earth’s albedo
In recent reports, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) notes that these suspended particles (aerosols, soot/black carbon) alter Earth’s albedo (the ratio of solar energy reflected by Earth—via its atmosphere, clouds, and surface—to the total solar energy received from the Sun). On one hand, high-altitude smoke causes temporary surface cooling by blocking sunlight; on the other, soot particles eventually settle onto ice, accelerating melting and disrupting the planet’s overall energy balance.

In addition to satellites, there are millions of pieces of space debris, such as fragments of old satellites, abandoned rockets, and other drifting objects, also orbiting the Earth. Besides the phenomenal number of satellites orbiting the Earth, this space debris poses a very serious collision risk to all currently operational satellites. Of course, satellites are equipped with collision avoidance systems. Nevertheless, the danger is very real.

For example, SpaceX, whose president is Elon Musk, currently has 4,400 satellites in orbit. In 2026, he decided to put all of SpaceX’s satellites into low Earth orbit, where there would be less space debris, in order to avoid the consequences of Kessler Syndrome (Wikipedia link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kessler_syndrome ).
Kessler syndrome and the chain reaction of general satellite collisions, causing a shower of stars on Earth.
The principle is simple: Kessler’s Syndrome is a global phenomenon characterized by the presence of tens of millions of debris pieces of various sizes that disrupt satellite operations. The more debris there is in orbit, the more it will collide with objects or other debris, triggering a chain reaction that will exponentially increase the number of debris. Ultimately, space exploration and satellite launches could become impossible.
Within this catastrophic scenario, there is an indicator called the « CRASH Clock » which represents the estimated time before a major collision of all the satellites. This scenario occurs if the satellites become unable to maneuver. The crash clock is the clock for the collision. In the context of Kessler syndrome, a scenario of a chain reaction of satellite collisions, in 2018, the reaction time to avoid this situation was 121 days. By 2026, it had dropped to less than three days (2.8 days)… Consequently, the decision by the CEO of SpaceX to lower its satellites into low Earth orbit becomes more understandable (Link for more information about the Crash Clock).
This simplified explanation shows that the vision of Christ’s prophecy announcing a widespread fall of stars to Earth is entirely possible and plausible, through a future chain reaction of satellites causing them to fall to Earth.
In addition to Kessler syndrome, there is also the risk of major solar storms that could disable them and cause them to fall to Earth.
A SpaceX Starlink satellite fell over Puerto Rico on February 7, 2022. 40 satellites fiery death by a solar flare, which SpaceX knew about (during February 2022).

Therefore, this is not merely a figment of the imagination or a science fiction scenario, but a tangible reality currently unfolding. However, if a solar storm like the one that occurred in 1859, the Carrington Event (Wikipedia link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrington_Event ), which ignited a network of telegraph cables in the United States, were to recur, it could have apocalyptic consequences for all satellites currently in operation, rendering them unusable and potentially causing them to fall to Earth. Thus, this aspect of Jesus Christ’s prophecy concerning the fall of stars to Earth is being fulfilled. However, given the alarming information regarding the number of millions of pieces of space debris and solar storms that can damage satellites, this suggests that in the very near future, the phenomenon risks taking on apocalyptic proportions…

The total mass of human-made objects in space has surpassed 15,800 to 17,000 tonnes, heavily concentrated in LEO. The current population can be categorized into tracked objects and statistical models of hidden debris: [1, 2]
• Tracked/Catalogued Objects (>10 cm): Sensors track approximately 29,400 to 46,000 objects. Of these, over 18,000 are active, operational satellites—representing a massive increase from previous years, led predominantly by commercial telecommunications fleets. [1, 2]
• Shrouded Debris (1 cm – 10 cm): Estimated at 1.2 million pieces. These fragments are too small to be tracked individually by ground radar but carry enough kinetic energy (traveling up to 8 km/s or 28,000 km/h) to completely destroy an active satellite upon impact.
• Millimeter Debris (<1 cm): Estimated at over 140 million particles (e.g., frozen coolant, paint flecks). While not structurally catastrophic, they routinely degrade solar panels and tracking optics.
As of September 2026, approximately 617 satellites and 924 total catalogued objects have fallen and re-entered Earth’s atmosphere.

• 2026: The trend remains at record levels, with the ESA now recording an average of more than 3 re-entries of intact objects (satellites or rocket bodies) into the atmosphere per day (just under 1,000 catalogued per year).

4 – The powers that are in the heavens will be shaken
These may be cataclysmic weather phenomena which would increase in number and intensity, due to global warming observed since the 1970s. This climatic warming causes extreme and opposite weather phenomena, in different places in the world, but sometimes in the same geographical location, such as droughts, followed by deadly floods, or even an increase in cyclones (or typhoons and hurricanes) and tornadoes…
Nevertheless, it is possible that Jesus Christ was describing cataclysmic weather phenomena directly caused by human intervention (as we examined above regarding the fall of stars (satellites and other space debris)). In this case, it could refer to scientific experiments aimed at directly influencing the climate, for example, to increase the frequency of rain or snow, or to prevent rain altogether. This science is called geoengineering. It encompasses all the techniques that aim to manipulate and modify the Earth’s climate and environment (Wikipedia definition of geoengineering: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geoengineering).
Regarding the field of rainfall modification, there is the technique of cloud seeding. This method has been discovered in 1946 by a scientist named Vincent Schaefer, an engineer at General Electric (Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vincent_Schaefer). Cloud seeding was done with silver oxide, using aircraft to take advantage of the updrafts of cumulonimbus clouds. Currently, in addition to silver oxide, salt, titanium dioxide, and metallic nanoparticles are used (Cloud seeding, Wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloud_seeding).

This technology has been used by the United States, China, India, and many other nations. In 2008, China used geoengineering in preparation for the Beijing Olympics, specifically to prevent rainfall. However, over time, continuing this practice has had serious consequences for the climate, resulting in massive flooding. The 2020 floods, in addition to hundreds of deaths, forced the evacuation of millions. These floods destroyed significant infrastructure.

Still in the realm of geoengineering to create rain, the United Arab Emirates used another method in 2021 by charging clouds with electricity. This was tested in Dubai. The consequences were massive floods in Oman and Dubai in April 2024. Dubai’s weather station has a Doppler radar. Is there a cause-and-effect relationship? To form an opinion on either side, we must revisit the catastrophic flooding of Valencia, Spain, on October 29 and 30, 2024, based on an analysis of satellite images (see the HAARP program).
The strange phenomenon observed, based on images from the Eumetsat MTG geostationary weather satellite on October 29, 2024, shows a close link between convection originating from a fixed source and a geographical location precisely at the Cullera Doppler Weather Radar, in the south of Valencia, Spain. These images, which resemble a spray of convective clouds pushed by south/southeast sea wind towards the mountains north-northwest of the villages and the city of Valencia, appeared regularly from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM on October 29, 2024 (see detailed satellite animation below).

What is « DANA »? It is a Meteorological Definition with Acronym Origin: DANA stands for Depresión Aislada en Niveles Altos in Spanish, which literally translates to isolated depression at high levels.:It occurs when a pocket of cold air high up in the atmosphere completely breaks away from the main polar jet stream and drops down over a warmer region, such as the Mediterranean Sea. The severe temperature contrast between the cold air aloft and warm, moist air near the surface creates extreme atmospheric instability. This results in towering storm clouds, torrential downpours, flash floods, and sometimes hail or tornadoes. However, in itself, this phenomenon remains natural.
However, the 2024 DANA event, which claimed thousands of victims, revealed a strange situation when examining the Meteosat geostationary satellite imagery for Spain. A relatively stationary point of convection (which is completely abnormal) can be observed directly over the Cullera Doppler radar—a radar that, officially (and conveniently), was out of service that day (see further details below).
It is worth mentioning the use of Doppler weather stations (which operate on the same principle as microwave ovens) in geoengineering. It seems clear from satellite imagery that the Doppler radar in Cullera, south of Valencia, Spain, played a significant role in artificially intensifying convection, coinciding with naturally occurring Saharan rains during the DANA event of October 29 and 30, 2024. The situation was exacerbated by much later natural convection originating from Albacete on the evening of October 29, 2024 (see the two satellite animation videos below, one of which is from Meteo Swiss).
This flooding in Spain, in the province of Valencia (and also in Albacete), on October 29 and 30, 2024, is estimated to have caused 240 deaths. This figure is widely considered an underestimate. Given the numerous reports and videos showing thousands of cars on the highway, swept away by rain and mudslides, there is no doubt that the number of victims is much higher.

In the case of the Valencia floods, photos from the Eumetsat MTG geostationary weather satellite clearly show that during the hours of the deluge (from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the morning of October 29, 2024), one of the convection currents was located at a fixed geographical point, above the Cullera Doppler radar, which was officially out of service that day.
However, satellite images in this YouTube video show that the convection of rain originating from the Sahara has been clearly intensified by an artificial and stationary convection current at the Cullera Doppler weather radar (See the video by clicking on the secure link https://youtu.be/z4U8xyeTzqE).

Doppler radars operate on the same principle as microwave ovens. The average frequency of microwave ovens used for cooking food is 2450 MHz. Most modern airborne weather radars are systems that emit between 18 watts and 10 kW of power, using microwaves at a frequency between 9.3 GHz and 9.5 GHz. Different methods of generating heat using thermal radiation include gamma rays, X-rays, ultraviolet rays, infrared radiation, and microwaves.
Based on images from Eumetsat’s MTG geostationary satellite, the conclusion is as follows: the Cullera Doppler weather radar has clearly created artificial convection by superheating the atmosphere with its microwave radiation. This radiation, driven by sea winds (south, southeast), is directed towards cold air masses in the mountains north and northwest of Valencia, successively creating immense convective explosions with monstrous cumulonimbus clouds, causing apocalyptic rainfall… The images are there to prove it…
It is also important to mention the HAARP program, the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program, generally referred to by its acronym HAARP, an American research observatory dedicated to the study of the ionosphere. It is primarily a military project to study the impact of the ionosphere on long-distance radio communications (Wikipedia link).
The two examples in geoengineering show that cloud seeding and the use of Doppler radar (as seen on October 29, 2024, in Cullera, Spain) cause meteorological disasters for which humans are primarily responsible (there is also the solar geoengineering project, which aims to reduce solar radiation in order to lower the Earth’s temperature).

Added to the global spread of the military virus, from the P4 laboratories in the Chinese city of Wuhan, on November 16, 2019, and the lethal experimental injection, which followed and which plunged all of humanity into a great torpor.

Which generation is it?
We have seen that in a way, the year 1914 is a historical landmark in time, showing that we are in the period announcing the end of this system of things. Therefore, what is the other historical landmark, that would allow us to understand that we have entered into the period mentioned by Jesus Christ, by the expression « Immediately after the tribulation of those days », of Matthew 24:29 or “But in those days, after that tribulation”, from Mark 13:24? (In the explanations that follow, the conditional tense is mentioned in the mind that the presentation is not made in a dogmatic spirit, to impose a single way of thinking).
Before giving an answer, it is appropriate to read what Jesus Christ said after describing this period, very close to the end (the sign of the Son of man and after, the great tribulation). In fact, he sets the limits in terms of length of time: « Now learn this illustration from the fig tree: Just as soon as its young branch grows tender and sprouts its leaves, you know that summer is near. Likewise, also you, when you see all these things, know that he is near at the doors. Truly I say to you that this generation will by no means pass away until all these things happen. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away” (Matthew 24:32-35).
The « generation » represents contemporaries who are currently seeing the signs before the vision of King Jesus Christ in the heavens, and not the people who lived through the early signs mentioned in Matthew 24:4-8, who are almost all dead.
In all of Christ’s statements that contain the word « generation, » it has no chronological value that would allow us to roughly estimate its duration. The word « generation, » as used by Jesus Christ, refers to the contemporaries who lived during his time. Moreover, when he used this word, it had a negative connotation. The word « generation, » in the teachings of Jesus Christ, means the contemporaries of wicked men:
“With whom will I compare this generation? It is like young children sitting in the marketplaces who call out to their playmates, 17 saying: ‘We played the flute for you, but you did not dance; we wailed, but you did not beat yourselves in grief.’ 18 Likewise, John came neither eating nor drinking, but people say, ‘He has a demon.’ 19 The Son of man did come eating and drinking, but people say, ‘Look! A man who is a glutton and is given to drinking wine, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ All the same, wisdom is proved righteous by its works” (Matthew 11:16-19; 12:38-45; 16:4; 17:17; 23:33-36, compared with 24:34).
There is no doubt that these prophetic words, of the wicked generation which would not pass away, were fulfilled in the destruction of Jerusalem in the year 70 C.E. The beginning of Christ’s first visible presence began in the year 29 CE. The destruction of Jerusalem took place in 70 CE. So that this period, at that time, was approximately 40 years. Thus, some of the Jews, of this wicked generation, maybe directly or indirectly responsible for the death of Jesus Christ, who lived in those days, experienced the judgment of the destruction of Jerusalem (Matthew 27:25). This valuable information allows us to understand that this short period, which would precede the great tribulation (from Matthew 24:29), which has already begun, should fall within this timeframe (time will tell)…
