The Prophecy Of Daniel

The prophecy of Daniel was written in Babylon,
and finalized around 536 BCE
THE SYNOPSIS OF THE STUDY OF THE PROPHECY OF DANIEL
This synopsis allows the reader to direct himself to the part of the article that may interest him the most, by scrolling down the page, to the topic number indicated
1 – The main theme of Daniel’s prophecy (7:13,14): The Prophecy of Daniel Announces The Victory Of The Sovereignty Of Jehovah: The main theme of the prophetic book of Daniel is the restoration of the sovereignty of Jehovah God on earth, through the kingdom of God, whose kingship has been entrusted to the « son of man », Jesus Christ (Matthew 25:31-46).
2 – The succession of world powers in the prophecy of Daniel 2: The statue of four metals: Babylon, the Medo-Persian Empire, Greek and Roman. It is obvious that there have been many other world empires. However, these four empires have had a direct connection with the prophetic narrative of the book of Daniel and even to the present days, regarding the last world power.
3 – The iron weakened by clay: Iron symbolizes the expression of the power of the Roman Empire, and its extension to our time, by iron weapons. Currently, the actions of iron governments are largely hampered by human clay.
4 – The wild beast with long iron teeth and the ten horns: Regarding this fourth wild beast, the Roman Empire, with ten horns (the whole of world sovereignty (ten horns)), expresses exactly the same idea as the vision of the statue with four metals, in its low part (legs, feet and toes): The Roman power would continue until our days.
5 – The three horns plucked up and replaced by an arrogant horn: The United States of America, gradually drove out the three colonial powers, which in fact represent the cradle of this nation with « Greco-Roman » origins: Spain (associated with The Netherlands and Portugal (which will colonize an important part of South America (Brazil)) with Spain), France and England.
6 – The last king with the grimacing face and arrogant attitude: The prophetic vision announces an event which takes place more than 2,500 years later, in our time, just before the great tribulation: the special description of the last king, of the last world power (THE LAST KING).
7 – The conflict between the king of the north and the king of the south, which will culminate in the great tribulation: The peculiarity of this war, with worldwide repercussions, is that it is exclusively centered on the land of Decoration, Israel, which is currently the epicenter of dramatic events that will lead to the great tribulation (Daniel 11:41- 45 and 12:1) (THE TWO KINGS).
8 – The prophecy of the coming of Messiah, the Leader and the end of the Covenant of the Law: The prophecy of the seventy weeks of years: Until Messiah the Leader, there will be 7 weeks, also 62 weeks: from the year 455 BCE, until the baptism of Christ.
9 – Daniel 4: Jesus Christ has been installed as Heavenly King of the Kingdom of God in October 1914 CE: How do we get to this date of Tishri, 15, (October,2/3), 1914?
10 – The earthly Holy Ones are, for the last time, severely persecuted and then will inherit the kingdom: The prophecies of 1260, 1290, 1335 days and 2300 evenings and mornings: These prophecies of the 1260, 1290, 1335 days and 2300 evenings and mornings, have their fulfillment, at the end of this system of things, at the great tribulation (Daniel 12:1).
11 – The 2300 Evenings and Mornings (Daniel 8:13,14)
12 – The 1335 Days, from Tebeth, 25 to Tishri, 10 (Daniel 12:12)
13 – From the advent of the last king, to the revelation of the man of lawlessness: The last king and the man of lawleness, is the same man.
14 – « The appointed time arrived for the holy ones to take possession of the kingdom » (Daniel 7:22): The Heaven Holy Ones will number 144,000 (Revelation 14:1-5). The Earthly Holy Ones, some will be Princes, other Priests and other non-priestly Levites (Ezekiel 40-48).
1 – The main theme of Daniel’s prophecy (7:13,14)
« I kept watching in the visions of the night, and look! with the clouds of the heavens, someone like a son of man was coming; and he gained access to the Ancient of Days, and they brought him up close before that One. 14 And to him there were given rulership, honor, and a kingdom, that the peoples, nations, and language groups should all serve him. His rulership is an everlasting rulership that will not pass away, and his kingdom will not be destroyed »
(Daniel 7:13,14)
The main theme of the prophetic book of Daniel is the restoration of the sovereignty of Jehovah God on earth, through the kingdom of God, whose kingship has been entrusted to the « son of man », Jesus Christ (Matthew 25:31-46). Based on the chronological basis of the prophecy of Daniel chapter 4:10-27, we can say that this heavenly enthronement took place in 1914 C.E. Human rulership on earth is portrayed as wild beasts that devour and crush mankind and compete with the sovereignty of God, based on love (1 John 4:8; Daniel 7:2-8). The prophecy of Daniel announces the violent disappearance of this bestial satanic sovereignty. This destruction will take place during the great tribulation: « But the Court sat, and they took away his rulership, in order to annihilate him and to destroy him completely » (Daniel 2:34,44; 7:26; 12:1; Matthew 24:21; Revelation 14: 18-20; 19:11-21).
The kingdom of God will establish its earthly administration through the New Jerusalem, made up of the 144,000 heavenly holy ones: “And the kingdom and the rulership and the grandeur of the kingdoms under all the heavens were given to the people who are the holy ones of the Supreme One. Their kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all rulerships will serve and obey them » (Daniel 7:27; Revelation 21:2-4). According to the prophecy of Ezekiel, the kingdom of God will have earthly holy ones, such as princes and priests (Ezekiel 40-48) (the expression « holy ones » found in the prophecy of Daniel, simply refers to the servants of God Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ).
The historical and prophetic narrative is based on these three main axes, mentioned above, the restoration of the sovereignty of God on earth, the disappearance of bestial human sovereignty, and the establishment of the earthly reign of the kingdom of God, of which the king is the « son of man », Jesus Christ and the 144,000 heavenly holy ones. Therefore, any historical event which does not have a direct link with these three aspects, is not mentioned.
For example, the book of Daniel there are mainly four World Powers, from the time of the writing of this biblical book of Daniel, to the present day: Babylon, the Medo-Persian Empire, Greek and Roman. It is obvious that there have been many other world empires. However, these four empires have had a direct connection with the prophetic narrative of the book of Daniel and even to the present days, regarding the last world power.
The prophetic analysis of this book will be done by theme. For example the examination of the first prophecy which deals with the succession of World Powers, in Daniel chapter 2, will be linked to other chapters which repeat this theme differently and for a different purpose (Daniel 7 and 8). Two prophecies of Daniel have already been the subject of a very detailed examination which will only be summarized in this article, but will direct the reader who wishes it, by a hyperlink (The king of the north and the king of the south (Daniel 11-12:1); The Last King (Daniel 8:23-25)). The main purpose of this biblical study of the prophecy of Daniel is to demonstrate the proximity of the Day of *Jehovah (the great tribulation) and the need to prepare ourselves individually, as a family, and as a congregation (Daniel 12:1).
* YeHoWaH should be read phonetically as Yeouah. It is therefore evident that the current vocalization of the Divine Name, « Jehovah », is doubly inaccurate by the insertion of the « J » which should be replaced by an I or Y and of the « v » (corresponding to the W) which should be read phonetically « ou ». However, the Divine Name of the Heavenly Father has been vocalized for centuries as « Jehovah » and bearing in mind that this vocalization is associated with God, and therefore, it is maintained within the framework of this study and across all websites (in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese).
2 – The statue of four metals and the succession of world powers in the prophecy of Daniel
(Daniel 2)
King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, had a dream
« You, O king, were watching, and you saw an immense image. That image, which was huge and extremely bright, was standing in front of you, and its appearance was terrifying. The head of that image was of fine gold, its chest and its arms were of silver, its abdomen and its thighs were of copper, its legs were of iron, and its feet were partly of iron and partly of clay. You looked on until a stone was cut out, not by hands, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and of clay and crushed them. At that time the iron, the clay, the copper, the silver, and the gold were, all together, crushed and became like the chaff from the summer threshing floor, and the wind carried them away so that not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the image became a large mountain, and it filled the whole earth » (Daniel 2:31-35).
The interpretation of the dream
“This is the dream, and we will now tell the king its interpretation. You, O king—the king of kings to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the might, the strength, and the glory, and into whose hand he has given men wherever they may dwell, as well as the beasts of the field and the birds of the heavens, and whom he has made ruler over all of them—you yourself are the head of gold. “But after you another kingdom will rise, inferior to you; then another kingdom, a third one, of copper, that will rule over the whole earth. “As for the fourth kingdom, it will be strong like iron. For just as iron crushes and pulverizes everything else, yes, like iron that shatters, it will crush and shatter all of these. “And just as you saw the feet and the toes to be partly of clay of a potter and partly of iron, the kingdom will be divided, but some of the hardness of iron will be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with soft clay. And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom will be partly strong and partly fragile. Just as you saw iron mixed with soft clay, they will be mixed with the people; but they will not stick together, one to the other, just as iron does not mix with clay. “In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever, just as you saw that out of the mountain a stone was cut not by hands, and that it crushed the iron, the copper, the clay, the silver, and the gold. The Grand God has made known to the king what will happen in the future. The dream is true, and its interpretation is trustworthy” (Daniel 2:36-45).
In this dream, it is prophetically described the succession of world powers, from the time of Daniel, when the kingdom of Babylon was the ruling world power, until the great tribulation, when the destruction of human sovereignty, followed by the establishment of the earthly administration of the kingdom of God. This statue is made of four metals:
1 – The golden head: the Babylonian empire, represented by the king Nebuchadnezzar, at the time of the prophet Daniel:
“You, O king—the king of kings to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the might, the strength, and the glory, 38 and into whose hand he has given men wherever they may dwell, as well as the beasts of the field and the birds of the heavens, and whom he has made ruler over all of them—you yourself are the head of gold” (Daniel 2:37,38).
2 – The chest and arms in silver: the Medo-Persian empire (Daniel 2:39a).
The historical narrative of the transition from Babylonian power to Medo-Persian power is found in Daniel chapters 5 and 6.
3 – The abdomen and the thighs made of copper: the Greek empire (Daniel 2:39b).
The prophetic announcement of the transition from the Medo-Persian empire to the Greek empire, through Alexander the Great, is found in Daniel chapter 8 (this chapter will be studied later):
“It threw the ram to the ground and trampled it down, and there was no one to rescue it from its power. Then the male goat exalted itself exceedingly, but as soon as it became mighty, the great horn was broken; then four conspicuous horns came up instead of the one, toward the four winds of the heavens. (…) The two-horned ram that you saw stands for the kings of Media and Persia. The hairy male goat stands for the king of Greece; and the great horn that was between its eyes stands for the first king. As for the horn that was broken, so that four stood up instead of it, there are four kingdoms from his nation that will stand up, but not with his power” (Daniel 8:7,8,20-22).
Two hundred years in advance, this prophecy foretold the advent of Alexander, the Great (the great horn of the male goat) and his very fast conquests (the male goat without touching the ground). The book of Daniel has been completed around 536 BCE, in Babylon. Alexander the Great was born in 356 BCE. In 336, he began his reign. He died very young, in 323 BCE: “the horn was broken”.
4 – The Iron Legs: The Roman Empire (Rome (Western Empire) and Constantinople (Eastern Empire)) (Daniel 2:40).
The prophetic announcement of the transition from Greek to Roman power is detailed in the prophecy of Daniel chapter 7 (this chapter will be studied later):
“After this I kept watching in the visions of the night, and I saw a fourth beast, fearsome and terrifying and unusually strong, and it had large iron teeth. It was devouring and crushing, and what was left it trampled down with its feet. It was different from all the other beasts that were prior to it, and it had ten horns” (Daniel 7:7).
This fourth beast represents Roman imperial power; here is how the angel describes its destructive force:
“This is what he said: ‘As for the fourth beast, there is a fourth kingdom that will come to be on the earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms, and it will devour all the earth and will trample it down and crush it” (Daniel 7:23).
In Chapter 2, the iron, symbolizing Roman power, extends to the feet and toes, signifying its continued existence to this day. This historical continuation is a late Romanization, reflected in its political, religious, and cultural system. Historically, and in a very simplified way, after the decline of the Western Roman Empire in 476, the Eastern Roman Empire continued until 1453.
These Germanic Peoples (as “Spearhead” of the Eastern Roman Empire), will install Royal dynasties, as Merovingian Dynasty, Carolingian Dynasty, in the Western part of Europe, and by means of the Holy Roman Empire, placing themselves under the influence of the Roman Catholic Church (representation of the extension of the Western Roman Empire, Roman Late Antiquity Influence).
Thus, the Western Roman Empire found its continuation through Rome and its extension to the present day, under the banner of Late Roman Antiquity, largely perpetuated by the Roman Catholic Church, which crowned the kings of Western Europe and also in its Germanic part in Eastern Europe. The continuation of Roman culture in the Eastern Roman Empire was achieved through the Orthodox Church in the Slavic countries of Eastern Europe and the Balkans.
The global expansion of this Roman culture occurred through voyages of exploration and research into new continents, followed by conquests and colonial wars that led to genocides of indigenous peoples (in the Americas (North, South, and Central), Asia, Australia, and Africa). The primary exporters of this Roman culture were Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Great Britain, and France. The United States of America is the result of wars of conquest waged by European nations of Roman origin. Thus, one could say that the United States of America is an extension of this Roman heritage.
On a political and governmental level, the « Caesars » were replaced by tsars, kaisers, kings, presidents, and prime ministers, with chambers of deputies or senates, as in the former Rome.
On a religious level, the Catholic Church fully embraces its Roman identity by identifying itself as Roman. Its teachings, fundamentally Christian (as well as those of the Orthodox Church), have been largely blended with Greco-Roman teachings, such as the Trinity, the concept of hell, the immortality of the soul, the veneration of saints, the cult of the Virgin Mary resembling the worship of the goddess Artemis of Ephesus, and the practice of venerating images, icons, and statues. The current general philosophy of Western nations is based on consumerism, pleasure, and the industrialized entertainment and tourism industries—the famous « bread and circuses » of ancient Rome (Panem et circenses)—to prevent any revolution or social unrest.
5 – The feet of iron mixed with clay (as well as the toes of iron mixed with clay)).
The presence of clay with the iron of the feet and toes, which in fact weaken the whole structure of the statue (world human sovereignty), represents the movements of uncontrolled crowds, in the forms of street, social and revolutionary, terrorist acts perpetrated by small groups, and alternative media outlets undermine the official propaganda of the authorities in power. This antagonism between iron and clay seriously weakens the authority of current governments. This counter-power seriously weakens the iron authority of current governments (Daniel 2:41-43).
3 – The iron weakened by clay
« As for the fourth kingdom, it will be strong like iron. Just as you saw iron mixed with soft clay, they will be mixed with the people; but they will not stick together, one to the other, just as iron does not mix with clay »
(Daniel 2:40-43)
Iron symbolizes the expression of the power of the Roman Empire, and its extension to our time, by iron weapons, swords, lances, shields and later, cannons, rifles, machine guns, bombs and bombers dropping fire from the sky, to use the expression from the book of Revelation, about the wild beasts of two lambs horns, representing the current world power: « It exercises all the authority of the first wild beast in its sight. And it makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first wild beast, whose mortal wound was healed. And it performs great signs, even making fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the sight of mankind » (Revelation 13:12,13).
For example, during World War II, Italy, Germany, and Japan (Axis Powers) set the world on fire. At the end of this World War II, far from pacifying the world, the allied powers, particularly France, the British, Holland, the United States and the former Soviet Union, in turn shed blood and tears, during the Cold War, in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Indonesia. Nevertheless, these iron powers, with their military strength, were hampered by clay. How? Let us take two examples, France and the United States: After the Second World War, these two countries engaged in colonial wars, in Africa (in the Maghrib), in Asia (in Korea, Vietnam, Laos and in Cambodia). On the military level (iron), these countries have undoubtedly exerted a power comparable to iron which destroyed everything in its path, by rifles, machine guns, cannons, incendiary bombs destroying men, women and children living in villages, and forests, in Vietnam and Laos. Nevertheless, the clay, the men and women, the public opinion, was quick to denounce the exaction of these great colonial powers, which « weakened » their military action (iron), to the point of converting their military victories, in political and diplomatic defeats.
Currently, the actions of iron governments are largely hampered by human clay, the « many waters », in the form of crowds protesting against the authority, revolutions, terrorist acts and mob movements that are flexing the authority of « militarized iron », widely relayed by union and media powers, particularly the Internet, which have acted and are acting as powerful checks and balances. The prophecy of Daniel mentions the “toes” of iron and clay, which accentuates the fragility and stability of the “statue”, through Balkanization and claims of autonomy that have fragmented great empires. This phenomenon has been accentuated after the fall of the former Soviet Union, from the beginning of the years 90. New forms of conflicts by worldwide generalized terrorist actions, with the appearance of the Internet, make that the human clay has nowadays become almost uncontrollable by most governments with their police and militarized iron power.
The uncontrolled and rebellious clay, of the prophecy of Daniel, finds its symbolic correspondence with the book of Revelation, with the horizontality of the rough sea and the many waters: « One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me: “Come, I will show you the judgment on the great prostitute who sits on many waters. (…) He said to me: “The waters that you saw, where the prostitute is sitting, mean peoples and crowds and nations and tongues » » (Revelation 17:1,15). While iron is represented by the verticality of the governmental « former heaven », in the book of Revelation, it is written that they will disappear: « And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more » (Revelation 21:1).
Their demise at the great tribulation is also foretold in the prophecy of Daniel:
“You looked on until a stone was cut out, not by hands, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and of clay and crushed them. At that time the iron, the clay, the copper, the silver, and the gold were, all together, crushed and became like the chaff from the summer threshing floor, and the wind carried them away so that not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the image became a large mountain, and it filled the whole earth. (…) In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever, 45 just as you saw that out of the mountain a stone was cut not by hands, and that it crushed the iron, the copper, the clay, the silver, and the gold. The Grand God has made known to the king what will happen in the future. The dream is true, and its interpretation is trustworthy” (Daniel 2:34,35,44,45).
The stone that will destroy the image, is the Kingdom of God. It is a heavenly government whose king is Jesus Christ, with 144,000 kings and priests, the New Jerusalem, according to the Book of Revelation (21:1-4). The mountain from which the stone comes from, is the everlasting sovereignty of Jehovah, which will once again be exercised on planet Earth. This is why this stone, which will destroy the image, will become a mountain over the whole Earth, in expression of the sovereignty of God.
4 – The wild beast with long iron teeth and the ten horns

The succession of these four world powers is expressed differently, but in a similar way, regarding late Roman Influence Antiquity, in another quote of the prophecy. This time, it is the prophet Daniel who has the visions, and it is an angel who gives him the interpretation of them. These visions allow to complete the information of the dream of the statue with four metals:
« Daniel declared: “I was watching in my visions during the night, and look! the four winds of the heavens were stirring up the vast sea. And four huge beasts came out of the sea, each different from the others. “The first one was like a lion, and it had the wings of an eagle. I watched until its wings were plucked out, and it was lifted up from the earth and was made to stand up on two feet like a man, and it was given the heart of a man. “And look! another beast, a second one, like a bear. It was raised up on one side, and three ribs were in its mouth between its teeth; and it was told, ‘Get up, eat much flesh.’ “After this I kept watching, and look! another beast, like a leopard, but on its back it had four wings like those of a bird. And the beast had four heads, and it was given authority to rule. “After this I kept watching in the visions of the night, and I saw a fourth beast, fearsome and terrifying and unusually strong, and it had large iron teeth. It was devouring and crushing, and what was left it trampled down with its feet. It was different from all the other beasts that were prior to it, and it had ten horns. While I considered the horns, look! another horn, a small one, came up among them, and three of the first horns were plucked up from before it. And look! there were eyes like human eyes in this horn, and there was a mouth speaking arrogantly » (Daniel 7:2-8).
In the first part of the explanation of the angel, are summarized all the information of the vision of the statue with four metals, showing that there would be four kings who would arise representing the four empires (Babylonian, Medo-Persian, Greek and Roman). This sovereignty would give way to the kingdom of God: « These huge beasts, four in number, are four kings who will stand up from the earth. But the holy ones of the Supreme One will receive the kingdom, and they will possess the kingdom forever, yes, forever and ever » (Daniel 7:17,18, compare with 2:36-44). What intrigued the Prophet Daniel, however, was the appearance of the fourth beast, which represents the Roman Empire. Therefore, he asked the angel for more information: “This is what he said: ‘As for the fourth beast, there is a fourth kingdom that will come to be on the earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms, and it will devour all the earth and will trample it down and crush it. As for the ten horns, ten kings will rise up out of that kingdom; and still another one will rise up after them, and he will be different from the first ones, and he will humiliate three kings” (Daniel 7:23,24).
Regarding this fourth wild beast, the Roman Empire, with ten horns (the whole of world sovereignty (ten horns)), expresses exactly the same idea as the vision of the statue with four metals, in its low part (legs, feet and toes): The Roman power would continue until our days. The fact that this wild beast has the ten horns, shows that the Late Antiquity Roman Influence (the Roman beast), the westernization, would permeate all the current world governance, until the last days (represented by the ten horns, all the kings of the earth).
5 – The three horns plucked up and replaced by an arrogant horn
« While I considered the horns, look! another horn, a small one, came up among them, and three of the first horns were plucked up from before it. And look! there were eyes like human eyes in this horn, and there was a mouth speaking arrogantly »
(Daniel 7:8)
What are the three plucked up horns, replaced by an arrogant horn? To find out, just read the explanations of the angel, regarding this big horn existing in our current days, in order to know what the three horns, correspond to: « He will speak words against the Most High, and he will continually harass the holy ones of the Supreme One. He will intend to change times and law, and they will be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time. But the Court sat, and they took away his rulership, in order to annihilate him and to destroy him completely » (Daniel 7:25,26).
Verse 26, shows that this horn (king), as worldwide power, would be present at the time of the great tribulation, the destruction of the international human sovereignty. What world power is it? Without doubt, the United States of America. The current world power is also described in the book of Revelation, as a wild beast with two horns of lambs, using by itself, the world power of another wild beast with seven heads and ten horns: « Then I saw another wild beast ascending out of the earth, and it had two horns like a lamb, but it began speaking like a dragon. It exercises all the authority of the first wild beast in its sight. And it makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first wild beast, whose mortal wound was healed. And it performs great signs, even making fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the sight of mankind » (Revelation 13:11-13). Just as Daniel 7:8 informs that this « horn speaking arrogantly », this quote of Revelation 13, describes it with the attitude of a prophet who organizes a worship rivaling that due to God. Revelation 16:13, call this wild beast as « false prophet ».
Therefore, it is easy to understand to which maritime powers correspond to the three plucked up and humiliated horns. To obtain its independence, the United States of America, gradually drove out the three colonial powers, which in fact represent the cradle of this nation with « Greco-Roman » origins: Spain (associated with The Netherlands and Portugal (which will colonize an important part of South America (Brazil)) with Spain), France and England. It was at the end of the Seven Years’ War (1756-1763) that France left all its possessions. Through the Spanish-American War (April 15 to August 12, 1898), Spain will lose its last possessions. Through the War of Independence (1775-1783), Great Britain will lose all its possessions. According to the prophecy of Daniel, the United States of America, is an expression of a « Late Roman Antiquity Influence », as are the three other nations that founded it.
6 – The last king with a hard-faced and an arrogant attitude
This last king mentioned in the prophecy of Daniel, is the theme of a special biblical study (The Last King). Nevertheless, it is important to know the whole context of this very detailed prophecy in its description: « As I raised my eyes, look! there was a ram standing before the watercourse, and it had two horns. The two horns were tall, but one was higher than the other, and the higher one came up later. I saw the ram making thrusts to the west and to the north and to the south, and no wild beasts could stand before it, and there was no one who could provide rescue from its power. It did as it pleased and exalted itself. As I kept watching, look! there was a male goat coming from the west crossing the surface of the whole earth without touching the ground. And the goat had a conspicuous horn between its eyes. It was coming toward the ram with the two horns, which I had seen standing before the watercourse; it was running toward it in a powerful rage. I saw it closing in on the ram, and it was filled with bitterness toward it. It struck down the ram and broke its two horns, and the ram was powerless to stand up to it. It threw the ram to the ground and trampled it down, and there was no one to rescue it from its power. Then the male goat exalted itself exceedingly, but as soon as it became mighty, the great horn was broken; then four conspicuous horns came up instead of the one, toward the four winds of the heavens » (Daniel 8:3-8).
This time, there are only two wild beasts that represent only two world powers, the two-horned ram, the Medo-Persian power, and the very fast male goat, with a very big horn, the Greek Empire: « The two-horned ram that you saw stands for the kings of Meʹdi·a and Persia. The hairy male goat stands for the king of Greece; and the great horn that was between its eyes stands for the first king. As for the horn that was broken, so that four stood up instead of it, there are four kingdoms from his nation that will stand up, but not with his power » (Daniel 8:20-22).
He died very young, in 323 BCE: « the horn was broken ». The prophecy suggests that none of his sons would inherit his kingdom. Alexander the Great had two sons: Alexander IV Aigos and Héraclès, an illegitimate son. The two sons were murdered and therefore did not succeed their father. According to the prophecy, after the death of Alexander, the Great, all the conquered territories were divided into four, between four of his generals: Seleucus Nicator taking Mesopotamia and Syria; Cassandra, Macedonia and Greece; Ptolemy Lagus, Egypt and Palestine; and Lysimachus, Thrace and Asia Minor.
Then, the prophetic vision announces an event which takes place more than 2,500 years later, in our time, just before the great tribulation: the special description of the last king, of the last world power: « Out of one of them came another horn, a small one, and it grew very great toward the south and toward the east and toward the Decoration. It grew so great that it reached all the way to the army of the heavens, and it caused some of the army and some of the stars to fall to the earth, and it trampled them down. It exalted itself even against the Prince of the army, and from him the constant feature was taken away, and the established place of his sanctuary was thrown down. And an army was given over, together with the constant feature, because of transgression; and it kept throwing truth to the earth, and it acted and had success » (Daniel 8:9-12). The angel gives the explanation of this vision:
« And in the final part of their kingdom, as the transgressors act to a completion, a fierce-looking king who understands ambiguous sayings will stand up. His power will become great, but not through his own power. He will bring ruin in an extraordinary way, and he will be successful and act effectively. He will bring mighty ones to ruin, also the people made up of the holy ones. And by his cunning he will use deception to succeed; and in his heart he will exalt himself; and during a time of security he will bring many to ruin. He will even stand up against the Prince of princes, but he will be broken without human hand » (Daniel 8:23-25). After the prowess of announcing the advent of Alexander 200 years in advance, it is the prophetic feat of announcing 2,500 years in advance, by the general description of his grimacing face, and his astute attitude and arrogant, the advent of the last king of the last world power.

It is in the historical context of the partition into four, of the former territories conquered by Alexander, the Great, that begins the prophetic narrative of the conflict, between the king of the north and the king of the south, in Daniel chapters 11 to 12:1. The peculiarity of this war, with worldwide repercussions, is that it is exclusively centered on the land of Decoration, Israel, which is currently the epicenter of dramatic events that will lead to the great tribulation (Daniel 11:41- 45 and 12:1).
The time is between the decline of Medo-Persian world power and the military supremacy of Greek power (compare Daniel 8:7,20,21). The « mighty king », in Daniel 11:3, is Alexander, the Great (336 BCE (compare Daniel 8:8,20)). His shattered kingdom, divided towards the four winds, alludes to his untimely death (323 BCE) and the division of the conquered territories, into four parts, shared between four of his former generals (compare with Daniel 8:8b,22). As the narrative of this conflict center on the land of Decoration, the north represents Syria and the south Egypt. Of the four generals, two of them seize the whole Greek Empire, which will begin the struggle between these two kings and their respective dynasty:
– The king of the North, the Syrian King Seleucus I Nicator and his dynasty.
– the king of the South, the Egyptian King Ptolemy Lagus and his dynasty.
8 – The prophecy of the coming of Messiah, the Leader
and the end of the Covenant of the Law
The prophecy of the seventy weeks of years

“There are 70 weeks that have been determined for your people and your holy city, in order to terminate the transgression, to finish off sin, to make atonement for error, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up the vision and the prophecy, and to anoint the Holy of Holies. You should know and understand that from the issuing of the word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem until Mes·siʹah the Leader, there will be 7 weeks, also 62 weeks. She will be restored and rebuilt, with a public square and moat, but in times of distress. “And after the 62 weeks, Mes·siʹah will be cut off, with nothing for himself. “And the people of a leader who is coming will destroy the city and the holy place. And its end will be by the flood. And until the end there will be war; what is decided upon is desolations. “And he will keep the covenant in force for the many for one week; and at the half of the week, he will cause sacrifice and gift offering to cease” (Daniel 9:24-27).
« You should know and understand that from the issuing of the word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Leader, there will be 7 weeks, also 62 weeks. She will be restored and rebuilt, with a public square and moat, but in times of distress » (Daniel 9:25). This prophetic statement announces the time of Christ’s coming to earth. First of all, they are weeks of years, not days, which means that each week represents, not seven days, but seven years. So seventy weeks of years (70×7) are 490 years. When does this period begin?
From the issuing of the word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem: The city of Jerusalem has been desolated and forsaken, after the exile of its inhabitants to Babylon, for 70 years (Jeremiah 25:11,12). After this time, the temple and the walls of Jerusalem were gradually rebuilt. So the beginning of this period is the year the order was given to rebuild Jerusalem. According to Nehemiah, one of the writers of the Bible, this order came « in the 20th year of King Ar·ta·xerxʹes » (Nehemiah 2:1,5-8.). As historians confirm, 474 BCE was the first year of Artaxerxes’ reign. The twentieth year of his reign was therefore, in 455 BCE.
Until Messiah the Leader, there will be 7 weeks, also 62 weeks: from the year 455 BCE, until the baptism of Christ, it is necessary to count, 7 weeks of years (7×7 = 49 years), and 62 weeks of years (62×7 = 434 years), that are 483 years (49 + 434). By adding, these 483 years to the year of departure, 455 BCE, we get to autumn 29 CE, when Christ was baptized in the Jordan, by John the Baptist (Matthew 3:13-17). So at the end of the 69 weeks of years (483 years), and at the beginning of the seventieth week of years, Jesus Christ has been baptized. It is written that after these seven and sixty-two weeks of years, Christ would be cut off: « And after the 62 weeks, Mes·siʹah will be cut off, with nothing for himself » (Daniel 9:26). But when in the time of the week 70? In the middle of the week, that is to say three and a half years, after his baptism: « And he will keep the covenant in force for the many for one week; and at the half of the week, he will cause sacrifice and gift offering to cease » (Daniel 9: 27a). By his sacrificial death, « at the half of the week », three and a half years, after his baptism, he made the « sacrifice and gift offering to cease », that is to say on 14 Nisan 14, 33 CE (Romans 10:4).
During the three and a half years, corresponding to the second part of the seventieth week of years, the resurrected Jesus Christ, shortly before his ascension, asked his disciples to preach the Good News, first in Jerusalem, in Judea, in Samaria and then, to all the nations: « But you will receive power when the holy spirit comes upon you, and you will be witnesses of me in Jerusalem, in all Ju·deʹa and Sa·marʹi·a, and to the most distant part of the earth » (Acts 1:8). At the end of the seventieth week, God officially turned His attention to the whole of the nations, at the time of Cornelius’ baptism, mentioned in Acts 10: « At this Peter began to speak, and he said: “Now I truly understand that God is not partial, but in every nation the man who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him » (Acts 10:34,35).
“And on the wing of disgusting things there will be the one causing desolation; and until an extermination, what was decided on will be poured out also on the one lying desolate” (Daniel 9:27b). The end of these seventy weeks of years prophetically announced the future destruction of Jerusalem, particularly according to the prophecy of Jesus Christ, in Matthew 24, Luke 21 and Mark 13.
9 – THE KING JESUS CHRIST HAS BEEN INSTALLED
AS KING OF THE HEAVENLY KINGDOM OF GOD
« Seven times will pass over you, until you know that the Most High is Ruler in the kingdom of mankind and that he grants it to whomever he wants »
(Daniel 4:10-25)

« ‘In the visions of my head while on my bed, I saw a tree in the midst of the earth, and its height was enormous. The tree grew and became strong, and its top reached the heavens, and it was visible to the ends of the whole earth. Its foliage was beautiful, and its fruit was abundant, and there was food on it for all. Beneath it the beasts of the field would seek shade, and on its branches the birds of the heavens would dwell, and all creatures would feed from it. “‘As I viewed the visions of my head while on my bed, I saw a watcher, a holy one, coming down from the heavens. He called out loudly: “Chop down the tree, cut off its branches, shake off its leaves, and scatter its fruit! Let the beasts flee from beneath it, and the birds from its branches. But leave the stump with its roots in the ground, with a banding of iron and of copper, among the grass of the field. Let it be wet with the dew of the heavens, and let its portion be with the beasts among the vegetation of the earth. Let its heart be changed from that of a human, and let it be given the heart of a beast, and let seven times pass over it. This is by the decree of watchers, and the request is by the word of the holy ones, so that people living may know that the Most High is Ruler in the kingdom of mankind and that he gives it to whomever he wants, and he sets up over it even the lowliest of men.” “‘This was the dream that I, King Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar, saw; now you, O Bel·te·shazʹzar, tell its interpretation, for all the other wise men of my kingdom are unable to make the interpretation known to me. But you are able to do so, because the spirit of holy gods is in you.’ “At that time Daniel, whose name is Bel·te·shazʹzar, was alarmed for a moment, and his thoughts began to frighten him. “The king said, ‘O Bel·te·shazʹzar, do not let the dream and the interpretation frighten you.’ “Bel·te·shazʹzar answered, ‘O my lord, may the dream apply to those hating you, and its interpretation to your enemies. “‘The tree that you saw that grew great and became strong, whose top reached the heavens and was visible to all the earth, which had beautiful foliage, abundant fruit, and food for all, beneath which the beasts of the field would dwell and on whose branches the birds of the heavens would reside, it is you, O king, because you have grown great and become strong, and your grandeur has grown and reached to the heavens, and your rulership to the ends of the earth. “‘And the king saw a watcher, a holy one, coming down from the heavens, who was saying: “Chop down the tree and destroy it, but leave the stump with its roots in the ground, with a banding of iron and of copper, among the grass of the field. And let the dew of the heavens make it wet, and let its portion be with the beasts of the field until seven times pass over it.” This is the interpretation, O king; it is the decree of the Most High that must befall my lord the king. You will be driven away from among men, and your dwelling will be with the beasts of the field, and you will be given vegetation to eat just like bulls; and you will become wet with the dew of the heavens, and seven times will pass over you, until you know that the Most High is Ruler in the kingdom of mankind and that he grants it to whomever he wants » (Daniel 4:10-25).
Here is the calculation to obtain the precise date of the enthronement of King Jesus Christ, in heaven, on Tishri, 15, (October 2/3) 1914 CE (« 2/3 », means that the day, in the Bible, begins at evening (Genesis 1:5)) (See the explanation (Lunisolar year (the new moon)) (Daniel 4:10-17, 20-29). The prophecy had a first fulfillment on the king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar. The second fulfillment allows knowing when Jesus Christ, as main descendant (when he was human) of King David, has been installed as king, of the kingdom of God (Matthew 1:1-16; Luke 3:23-38): By applying the momentary interruption of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, of « seven times », to the same momentary interruption, of the reign of the Davidic dynasty, in Jerusalem, which took place in 607 BCE, we get to the date of 1914 CE.
In 607 BCE, when Jerusalem has been conquered by the Babylonians, “the Davidic throne” representing Jehovah’s earthly sovereignty, has been found vacant, and no longer representing it (2 Kings 25:1-26). In the prophecy of Ezekiel, it is written that this reign of the Davidic dynasty would be restored: “This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah says: ‘Remove the turban, and take off the crown. This will not remain the same. Raise up the low one, and bring low the high one. A ruin, a ruin, a ruin I will make it. And it will not belong to anyone until the one who has the legal right comes, and I will give it to him” (Ezekiel 21:26, 27). The one who would have “the legal right” to the Davidic crown, is Christ Jesus (Luke 1:32, 33).
The prophecy of Daniel, chapter 4, indicates the duration of this temporary interruption of the reign of the Davidic dynasty: 7 times, that are, 7 prophetic years of 360 days. Which are 2520 days or 7 prophetic years. The historical and prophetic context, of the events after the beginning of the temporary overthrow of the Davidic dynasty, in 607 BCE, allows to understand that these 2520 days, are in fact 2520 years. Adding 7 years, to the year 607 BCE, nothing historically important has happened: which makes it possible to discern that it is indeed the biblical correspondence, of « a day for a year », 2520 years (Ezekiel 4:6). Adding the 2520 years, to 607 BCE, we get to the year 1914 CE. In 1 Kings 25:25,26, it is written that Jerusalem has been completely uninhabited from the seventh month of the year 607 BCE, that is, from the month of Tishri (Ethanim). The date of Tishri (Ethanim)15, is the most biblically logical, particularly according to the prophecy of Zechariah 14:16, which associates Ethanim, 15, the date of the Festival of Booths, with the celebration of Jehovah’s sovereignty (compare with Revelation 12:10, (the heavenly enthronement of Christ, in 1914 CE)).
10 – The earthly Holy Ones are, for the last time,
severely persecuted
and then will inherit the kingdom
The prophecies of 1260, 1290, 1335 days
and 2300 evenings and mornings

These prophecies of the 1260, 1290, 1335 days and 2300 evenings and mornings, have their fulfillment, at the end of this system of things, at the great tribulation (Daniel 12:1). Why? It is precisely the statements regarding the 2300 and 1335 days, that lead to this understanding: « Until 2,300 evenings and mornings; and the holy place will certainly be restored to its right condition » (Daniel 8:14); « Happy is the one who keeps in expectation and who arrives at the 1,335 days! » (Daniel 12:12 compare with Matthew 24:13). This everlasting happiness will only begin with the release of the Faithful Christian, at the great tribulation of Ethanim (Tishri), 10, which will be a planetary jubilee: « But as these things start to occur, stand up straight and lift up your heads, because your deliverance is getting near » (Luke 21:28). This prophecy of the 1260, 1290 and 1335 days, is presenting a calendar of events, just before the Great Tribulation: the short campaign of international persecution of the heavenly and earthly Holy Ones, until the end of the 1335 days. Here is a brief overview of the process of the calculations of dates:
– The calculation will be made from the biblical calendar (Jewish), with the biblical names of the corresponding months. Then, in each important step of the calculation, the dates of the biblical lunisolar calendar will be translated into Gregorian Calendar Dates (the current solar calendar).
– The biblical method of calculation considers the full prophetic years have 360 days, the same for the prophetic months, with 30 days. The 1260 days are 3 and a half years ((3 x 360 days) + (6 x 30 days)) (Revelation 12:6,14).
– The full prophetic years of 360 days are from date to date. For example, if the calculation begins on Nisan, 1, of the year « n » (month of the Jewish calendar), the year after will be, from Nisan, 1, « n » to Nisan, 1, « n +1″… for each full prophetic year.
– It is the same for the entire prophetic months of thirty days, from date to date, even if the lunar month has only 29 days and the following one with 30. For example for two prophetic months, from the Elul, 1, until the Tishri, 1, represents a prophetic month of 30 days (even though Elul has only 29 days) (Revelation 11:2, 3; 42 months of 30 days = 1260 days).
– It is different for the number of days less than a month. It is the case in the prophecy of 1335 days (15 days) and 2300 days (20 days). In those cases, each day must be counted with the number corresponding to the date of the month. For example, if there are 15 days left, starting on the date of the Elul, 25 (biblical date), then the calculation starts from the 25 (counting as the first day (25), from the start, because in the Bible, the beginning of a day is counted as entire), we get to the date of Tishri,10 (taking into account in this specific case, that Elul has only 29 days, the same for the 20 days remaining of the 2300 days) (In Matthew 12:40, it is written that Jesus Christ said that he would remain « three days and three nights in the heart of the earth », which shows that a started day is counted in its entirety, day and night).
– Last point, the informed reader will notice a gap of two days, between the biblical date presented, and the Jewish calendar date (with two days late). A biblical Ethanim (Tishri), 10, corresponds to an Ethanim (Tishri), 8, in the Jewish calendar date. This difference comes from the fact that according to the Bible, the new moon is the full disappearance and the full moon is on the 15th day of the month (Psalms 81:3). The current Jewish calendar considers the first day of the month with a new moon, with the first observable crescent moon, which in fact causes on average of two days later than the biblical date (see the explanations on the page of « the lunar calendar » (« New Moon »)).
11 – The Prophecy of the 2300 Evenings and Mornings and the Ethanim (Tishri), 10th
(month of the biblical calendar)
The Meaning
“And I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the one speaking: “How long will the vision of the constant feature and of the transgression causing desolation continue, to make both the holy place and the army things to trample on?” So he said to me: “Until 2,300 evenings and mornings; and the holy place will certainly be restored to its right condition »”
(Daniel 8:13,14)
This period of 2300 evenings and mornings refers to a period of time lasting several years, which describes a behavior that goes directly against the sacred service rendered to God, in the holy place of the Spiritual Temple Sanctuary. The understanding of the context of Daniel’s prophecies will allow to know more concretely what situation this may be, as well as the geographical part of the world where this prophecy is being fulfilled. The chronological structure of these 2300 evenings and mornings, will allow to understand when it could begin and when it could end.
It is at the very end of this very concise prophecy that there is a very important information that allows to understand when this period will end: « And the holy place will certainly be restored to its right condition » (Daniel 8:14). When will the holy place be definitively restored to its right condition? It is easy to understand at the end of this system of things, during the Day of Jehovah, the great tribulation or during the time of distress mentioned in the prophecy of Daniel (Daniel 12:1). According to several biblical information, the great tribulation should take place on Ethanim (Tishri), 10, in the worldwide fulfillment of the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) (Leviticus chapter 16; Hebrews 10:1 « For since the Law has a shadow of the good things to come »). It is the book of Apocalypse that enigmatically reveals that the great tribulation, or the end of this system of things, will take place on of Ethanim (Tishri), 10th: « And the temple sanctuary of God in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen in his temple sanctuary. And there were flashes of lightning and voices and thunders and an earthquake and a great hail » (Apocalypse 11:19).
The first part of verse 19 describes the vision of the Ark of the Covenant, which God required to be visible to the high priest only on the tenth day of the seventh month of the year, that is, on the Ethanim (Tishri), 10th: « It will serve as a lasting statute for you: In the seventh month, on the tenth of the month » (Leviticus 16:29).
The second part of verse 19 is an enigmatic and concise description of the Great Tribulation, symbolically evoking the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah (Apocalypse 11:8, compare with the account in Genesis chapter 19).
What is the biblical evidence that the period of 2300 evenings and mornings ends on the Ethanim, 10th? Starting from the initial hypothesis that the 2300 evenings and mornings end on the Ethanim (Tishri), 10th and going back to the source or the beginning of this period, we arrive at a biblically significant date, linked to the holy place, the 20th of Ziv (Iyar): « Now in the second year, in the second month, on the 20th day of the month, the cloud lifted from over the tabernacle of the Testimony. (…) This was the first time they departed following the order of Jehovah through Moses » (Numbers 10:11).
This date of Ziv (Iyar), 20, is the official moment of the establishment of the holy place in its right condition, symbolized by the tabernacle of the Testimony (see (online) the article in English of Lehrhaus Review of May 3, 2018, entitled « On the importance of the Twentieth of Iyar », written by Ezra Zivan). Starting from 20 Ziv (Iyar), and adding 2300 evenings and mornings, then we arrive at the date of Tishri (Ethanim), 10 (see details of the calculation, below). It is at the end of the 2300 evenings and mornings, that is to say on Tishri (Ethanim), 10, that the holy place will be restored to its right condition (Daniel 8:14). This proves (in another way (than that of Apocalypse 11:18,19)), biblically speaking, that the great tribulation will take place on a Ethanim (Tishri), 10. The demonstration of these two dates is below (from Iyar (Ziz), 20, to Ethanim (Tishri), 10 = 2300 evenings and mornings).
The second point, very strange, but worth mentioning, is the comparison of this period of 2300 days with another period of 2520 days, or 7 prophetic years of 360 days (these two periods appear in different prophecies in the book of Daniel (chapter 4; 8:13,14)). By making the arithmetical difference between the 2520 days and the 2300 days, we obtain the result of 220 days. Now, 220 days represent 7 prophetic months of 30 days and 10 days ((7 x 30 = 210) + 10 = 220) in cardinal numbers). This is, it seems, a cryptic expression of the date of the seventh month and the tenth day (in ordinal numbers), or the date of the 10th of Tishri (Ethanim). This could be a further enigmatic indication that the end of the 2300 evenings and mornings would be the 10th of Tishri (Ethanim).
This date of the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) is the celebration of the Holiness of Jehovah God, the Heavenly Father (Leviticus chapter 16), while the date of Ethanim (Tishri), 15, is the celebration of the Kingship of Jehovah God (Zechariah 14:16,17). Thus, the 2300 evenings and mornings represent an abnormal time that goes against the worship of the Heavenly Father in the Holy Place, it will end with the Day of Jehovah which will celebrate His Holiness and which will set in the right condition, the Holy Place of the Temple Sanctuary.
The Calculation of the 2300 Evenings and Mornings
(Daniel 8:14)
The calculation of the 2300 evenings and mornings allows us to place this time very precisely between the 20th of Ziv (Iyar) and the 10th of Ethanim (Tishri) (the end of the 2300 evenings and mornings). First, here are the simple calculation rule:
– The calculation is based on the biblical (Hebrew) calendar, with the corresponding biblical names of the months (see the Hebrew calendar below).
– The biblical method of calculation considers, empirically, complete years of 360 prophetic days, and months of 30 prophetic days. Thus, the 1260 days empirically correspond to 3.5 years (compare the two verses of Apocalypse 12:6, 14 (3 x 360 days) + (6 x 30 days) = 1080 + 180 = 1260 days) and the 42 months of Apocalypse 11:2 (42 prophetic months: 42 x 30 = 1260 days)).
– Complete years of 360 prophetic days run from date to date. For example, if the calculation begins on the 1st of Nisan of the year « n » (month of the Hebrew calendar), the years will go from 1 Nisan, 1, « n » to Nisan, 1, « n + 1 » for each complete prophetic year (This simple system of calculation of the number of prophetic years and the number of prophetic months is lunisolar, meaning that these years are synchronized, in fact, with the solar years).
– The same is true for prophetic months; they are counted on the empirical basis of thirty days, from date to date, even if the lunar month has only 29 days and the next 30 (see the calendar below) (Apocalypse 11:2, 3; 42 months of 30 days = 1260 days).
– For the number of days less than a month, or thirty days, this is the case in the prophecy of the 1335 days (15 days) and 2300 days (20 days), the count is done day by day, taking into account, this time, the alternation between the month of 29 days and the month of thirty days. Regarding the 2300 evenings and mornings, it is the month of Elul which has only 29 days (see the Hebrew calendar, below). It is therefore necessary to take this into account in the last 20 days, of the 2300 evenings and mornings.
Here is the Hebrew and biblical lunisolar calendar, so that you can follow and understand the calculation. In the Hebrew and Biblical lunisolar calendar, years have 12 lunar months of 29 or 30 days. Here are the months of the Hebrew and Biblical calendar to facilitate understanding of the (very technical) explanations that follow:
The biblical Hebrew lunisolar calendar
First month: Nisan or Abib (in the Bible) (March-April) (30 days)
Second month: Iyyar or Ziv (in the Bible) (April-May) (29 days)
Third month: Sivan (May-June) (30 days)
Fourth month: Tammuz (June-July) (29 days)
Fifth month: Ab (July-August) (30 days)
Sixth month: Eloul (August-September) (29 days)
Seventh month: Tishri or Ethanim (in the Bible) (September-October) (30 days)
Eighth month: Hesvan or Bul (in the Bible) (October-November) (29 or 30 days)
Ninth month: Chislev (November-December) (29 or 30 days)
Tenth month: Tebeth (December-January) (29 days)
Eleventh month: Shebat (January-February) (30 days)
Twelfth month: Adar (February-March) (29 or 30 days)
Thirteenth month: Adar II or Veadar (29 days)
In the Hebrew lunisolar calendar, an intercalary month is regularly added to compensate for the 11-day difference between the lunar year (354 days) and the solar year (365 days). In this case, this year exceptionally has 13 months; it is a « lunisolar » year.
The 2300 evenings and mornings are 6 years (6 x 360 = 2160 days), 4 months (4 x 30 = 120 days), 20 days: 2160 + 120 + 20 = 2300 days (evenings and mornings).
The 2300 evenings and mornings also represent 7 years, minus 7 months and 10 days, as the date ending the period of 2300 evenings and mornings (2520 days – 2300 days = 220 days (cardinal numbers)) (A cryptic expression of the date of Ethanim (Tishri), 10 (tenth day of the seventh month (ordinal numbers)).
Calculation from the 20th of Ziv mentioned in Numbers 10:11-13
Starting point of the 20th of Ziv
6 years: Ziv, 20 (plus 6 years).
Plus 4 months:
from Ziv (Iyyar), 20 to Sivan, 20 (1 month).
Sivan, 20 to Tammuz, 20 (2 months).
Tammuz, 20 to Ab, 20 (3 months).
Ab, 20 to Elul, 20 (4 months).
The last 20 days are counted ordinally (and not cardinally because dates are expressed in ordinal numbers) starting from the date of the first day, in this case, the 20th of Elul. The way of counting the 20 days, this time takes into account the precise number of days in each month (see the calendar above). Looking at the Hebrew calendar, the month of Elul has only 29 days. Here is the count of the remaining 20 days:
Elul, 20 (1), Elul, 21 (2), Elul, 22 (3), Elul, 23 (4), Elul, 24 (5), Elul, 25 (6), Elul, 26 (7), Elul, 27 (8), Elul, 28 (9), Elul, 29 (10), Tishri, 1 (11), Tishri, 2 (12), Tishri, 3 (13), Tishri, 4 (14), Tishri, 5 (15), Tishri, 6 (16), Tishri, 7 (17), Tishri, 8 (18), Tishri, 9 (19), Tishri, 10 (20 days) (end of the 2300 evenings and mornings of the prophecy of Daniel 8:13,14).
This calculation is a further confirmation that the Day of Jehovah or the great tribulation will take place on the date of the 10th of Tishri (Ethanim) (Apocalypse 11:19). However, although very interesting, it is necessary to understand the concrete meaning of this prophecy of Daniel (8:14), namely to what kind of current situation, the prophecy refers, which would precede the great tribulation.
The answer is in the whole context of Daniel’s prophecy, which is literally centered on the dramatic events in the Middle East, particularly in the prophecy of the king of the north and the king of the south, in Daniel chapters 11 and 12. The symbolic meaning of the 20th of Iyyar (Ziv), could allow us to focus on an important date for Palestine, and particularly for the present state of Israel. For example, concerning what constitutes the dramatic conclusion of the conflict between the king of the north and the king of the south, here is what is written: « During that time Michael will stand up, the great prince who is standing in behalf of your people. And there will occur a time of distress such as has not occurred since there came to be a nation until that time » (Daniel 12:1a). This time of distress seems to have the Middle East, particularly the state of Israel, as its epicenter.
What could be the significance
of the 2300 evenings and mornings today?
To obtain a precise answer, it is necessary to research the current date of the beginning of this 2300-day period. This research is crucial to fully understanding the meaning of this prophecy. The important indication regarding the beginning of this period is that it alludes to the founding of the nation of Israel, through the establishment of the holy place in its right condition, represented by the Tabernacle, on the 20th of Ziv (Numbers 10:11-13). This date has either a literal and temporal value, or a more symbolic and simply event-related value. Therefore, it will be appropriate to start from the current estimates of the date (there are currently three (*see below)) and empirically apply (without detailed calculation) the 2300 days, going back 6 years earlier, to make it correspond directly (or empirically) to the 20th of Ziv (Iyar) of the year in question and translate it into a date of the Gregorian solar calendar, to see if we arrive at a significant date concerning current events linked to the state of Israel, making at the same time, the direct connection with this event of the past mentioned in Numbers (10:11-13).
Doing this experiment, in a completely empirical way, from date to date (without calculation) from Tishri,10, and going back 6 years earlier, to Iyyar (Ziv), 20, (converting it at the same time, into a date of the Gregorian calendar), there is absolutely no determining event, in Israel, or in Palestine, linked to the statement of the prophecy of Daniel (8:13,14).
What is the solution? It would be appropriate to look for a significant historical date for the current state of Israel, similar to the 20th of Ziv (Iyyar) (Numbers 10:11-13). The reasoning in terms of significant dates for the current state of Israel, is that they are in fact expressed on the basis of the Gregorian calendar when it comes to a historical event and then commemorated on the basis of the Hebrew calendar. Now, an important date for the current state of Israel is that of its independence: May 14, 1948. For information, by converting this date, it corresponds to the 5th of Ziv (Iyar) 1948. The reminder of the importance of the 20th of Ziv is that this date represented the founding of the nation of Israel, by the institution of the holy place in its true condition, represented by the Tabernacle (Numbers 10:11). These two dates are similar in their symbolism: the establishment of the nation of Israel, as representative of God’s people on earth (in appearance (for the current state of Israel)).
Therefore, since this significant date of May 14, 1948 (5 Ziv (Iyar)), is expressed on the basis of the Gregorian calendar, one could, this time starting from the 10th of Tishri of a given year, convert this date into a day of the Gregorian (solar) calendar, and then go back 6 years, 4 months and 20 days and apply the method of chronological calculation, in order to see if one arrives at a significant date like a certain Ziv (Iyar), 5, as the current beginning of the 2300 evenings and mornings.
And that is what we are going to do with the three *hypothetical dates, below. By explaining in a very simplified way, we arrive at a surprising result: starting from the hypothetical date of Tishri, 10, converting it into a date from the solar calendar, and going back six years, 4 months and 20 days, with the biblical method of calculation, we arrive at the surprising date. By converting the date from the solar calendar, into a date from the Hebrew calendar, we obtain the result of the date of 5 Iyar (Ziv), 5, the anniversary date of Israel’s independence (Iyyar (Ziv), 5, May 14, 1948 (original date)).
This means that the biblical starting date of Ziv, 20, is an event-based (and not temporal) prophetic indication that announces a similar historical situation, namely the founding of the nation of Israel, by the inauguration of the holy place (established in its right condition, in accordance with the will of God (Numbers 10:11-13)), being replaced in our days by the celebration of the anniversary date of the independence of the current nation of Israel, this time Ziv (Iyyar), 5, which represents the holy place in an abnormal situation before God (Daniel 8:13,14).
According to Daniel’s prophecy (8:13,14), this situation is completely abnormal, from God’s point of view, because it suggests that the holy place is not in its right condition (or in accordance with his will), according to verse 13, because it causes desolation around it. It is written in this verse 13, that it is a period of serious transgression which will result in a trampling, or a destruction, then restoring the holy place to its right condition, a condition in accordance with the will of God (in its right condition (mentioned in Numbers 10:11,13)), on the 10th of Ethanim (Tishri), during the Day of Jehovah, the great tribulation, at the end of the 2300 evenings and mornings: « And I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the one speaking: “How long will the vision of the constant feature and of the transgression causing desolation continue, to make both the holy place and the army things to trample on?” So he said to me: “Until 2,300 evenings and mornings; and the holy place will certainly be restored to its right condition” » (Daniel 8:13,14).
To thoroughly verify the validity of the date of Iyar (Ziv), 5, as the current starting point, by seeing if it corresponds with Ethanim (Tishri), 10, applying the 2300 evenings and mornings, it is appropriate to use the same method mentioned above (between Ziv, 20 and Tishri, 10). The calculation begins, this time, with the date of Iyyar (Ziv), 5 (and not Ziv, 20) of a specific year, then converting it to the Gregorian calendar date, and applying the 6 years, 4 months and 20 days, to obtain the Gregorian calendar date, and then converting it back to the Hebrew calendar date, in order to see if it corresponds very precisely to the date of Ethanim (Tishri), 10 of the year in question. What is the result? It is an amazing result…
Calculation of the 2300 Evenings and Mornings in Our Time
(Daniel 8:13,14)
Before proceeding with the experiment, it should be noted that the estimated dates below were calculated before the current study of Daniel’s prophecy (8:13,14) of the 2300 evenings and mornings, and without knowing that this would result in the determination of the date of Iyyar (Ziv), 5 (the anniversary of the founding of the State of Israel on May 14 (5 Ziv (Iyyar) 1948). Therefore, before calculating the 2300 days, there will be a detailed explanation of how the following three hypothetical dates were obtained, in order to solidly prove that they have a real lunar astronomical basis:
* Currently estimated dates are Ethanim, 10, 2025 (September 30, 2025/October 1, 2025), Ethanim, 10, 2026 (September 19/20, 2026), and Ethanim, 10, 2028 (September 27/28, 2028). These three dates are calculated from the astronomical (not religious) new moon, which has a proven biblical basis (Psalm 81:3).
Details of the calculation of the three hypothetical dates. The process is quite simple, for a specific month, such as September 2025, 2026, 2028, just do a quick search (online) on the precise dates of the astronomical new moon, to the nearest hour (this is very important). You should have an astronomical table of lunar months corresponding to the months of September in different years, in order to carry out a double check. There are some important things to take into account: the lunar astronomical tables are based on days that go from midnight to midnight, which is a difference between the way of counting days in the biblical and Hebrew systems, where the beginning of the day is counted from sunset (Genesis 1:5). The time of the astronomical new moon is generally in Universal Time (UTC). The time in Jerusalem is UTC plus three (UTC+3). This means that three hours must be added to UTC time (if UTC time is 8 p.m., in Jerusalem it will be 11 p.m. (8 p.m. + 3 p.m.)). To know in which lunar day the astronomical new moon is to be placed, you must know the time of sunset in Jerusalem.
– Ethanim 10, 2025 (September 30, 2025/October 1, 2025): Date and time of the new moon in September 2025: September 21, 7:54 p.m. (UTC). This means that it will occur at 10:54 p.m. in Jerusalem (UTC + 3). The astronomical new moon will occur *between the two evenings of September 21 and 22, 2025. Based on the biblical and Hebrew lunisolar calendar, the new moon will occur, not on September 21, but on September 22, 2025, in Jerusalem. Tishri 1 (Ethanim) (based on the astronomical new moon) will be September 21/22, 2025, and Tishri 10 will be September 30 (after sunset in Jerusalem)/October 1, 2025.
* The expression « between two evenings » means between sunset and sunrise, the time when the moon is generally visible (with the exception of the new moon).
– Ethanim 10, 2026 (September 19/20, 2026): Date and time of the astronomical new moon, in September 2026: September 11, 2026 at 3:27 a.m. UTC (6:27 a.m. UTC + 3 in Jerusalem). The new moon will occur between the two evenings of September 10 and 11. Tishri 1 will be September 10/11, 2026, and Tishri 10 will be September 19/20, 2026.
– Ethanim 10, 2028 (September 27/28, 2028): Date and time of the new moon in September 2028: September 18, 2028 at 6:21 p.m. UTC (9:27 p.m. in Jerusalem UTC + 3). The new moon will occur between the two evenings of September 18 and 19. Tishri 1 will be September 18/19, 2028, and Tishri 10 will be September 27/28, 2028.
By checking the dates of the 10th of Tishri in 2025, 2026 and 2028, let us move on to the most difficult part, the verification of the three dates, with the period of 2300 evenings and mornings (Daniel 8:13,14).
Verifying the date of Tishri 10, 2028 (September 27/28, 2028)
with the period of 2,300 evenings and mornings
(Daniel 8:13, 14)
Let’s start with the year 2028. Here’s the calculation method, starting from Iyyar 5, which, as a reminder, is the anniversary of the independence of the current state of Israel (reminder: 2,300 days = 6 years + 4 months + 20 days):
From the year 2028, we should go back 6 years: Iyyar 5 (Ziv), 2022, or May 5/6, 2022, as the starting date for calculating the 2,300 evenings and mornings, applying the biblical rules of counting: Iyyar 5 (Ziv), 2022 + 6 years = 5/6 May 2028.
Regarding the solar calendar’s month count, there is a small additional difficulty: an adjustment is required. Indeed, the biblical rule is that months have 30 days, not 31 days, for some months of the solar calendar. This means that counting the months from May to September 2028, there are three months with 31 days: May, July, and August have 31 days, or three additional days that affect the date of September and distort the result. Therefore, a three-day readjustment is required. How?
In the normal (biblical) count, months have thirty days. Regarding the month of May, if we apply day 31, this means that the following June 1st (taking into account the 1-day shift) should correspond to June 2nd (in the biblical count of a month of 30 days). Similarly, between the passage of July 31st and August 1st, taking into account the 1-day shift, it should correspond to August 2nd (in the biblical count of a month of 30 days). Similarly, between the passage of August 31st and September 1st, taking into account the 1-day shift, it should be September 2nd (in the biblical count of a month of 30 days). Thus, cumulatively, the regularization at the level of the month of September should be 3 additional days, to adjust the exact date at the level of the month of September, in order to correspond exactly to the four months of 30 days:
May 5/6, 2028 + 4 months = September 5/6, 2028.
September 5/6, 2028 + 20 days + 3 days (to adjust the three months by 1 extra day) = September 27/28, 2028 (Tishri 10, 2028). This corresponds perfectly.
That is, from Iyyar 5, 2022 (May 5/6, 2022) to Tishri 10 (Ethanim), 2028 (September 27/28, 2028) (astronomical new moon) = 2,300 evenings and mornings.
Verification of the date of Tishri 10, 2026 (September 19/20, 2026) with the period of 2300 evenings and mornings
(Daniel 8:13, 14)
Iyyar 5, 2020, corresponds to April 28/29, 2020 + 6 years = April 28/29, 2026.
April 28/29, 2026 + 4 months = August 28/29, 2026.
August 28/29, 2026 + 20 days + 3 days to adjust the three months by 1 additional day = September 19/20, 2026 (Tishri 10, 2026). This corresponds perfectly.
That is from 5 Iyar 2020 (April 28/29, 2020) to 10 Tishri (Ethanim) 2026 (September 19/20, 2026) (astronomical new moon) = 2300 evenings and mornings.
Verification of the date of Tishri 10, 2025 (September 30, 2025/October 1, 2025) with the period of 2300 evenings and mornings
(Daniel 8:13, 14)
Iyyar 5 (Ziv), 2019, corresponds to May 9/10, 2019 + 6 years = May 9/10, 2025.
May 9/10, 2025 + 4 months = September 9/10, 2025.
September 9/10, 2025 + 20 days + 3 days to adjust the three months by 1 additional day = October 1/2, 2025 (Tishri 11, 2025 (astronomical new moon)). It does not correspond, based on the astronomical new moon, with 1 additional day.
However, it corresponds to the 10th of Tishri (October 1/2, 2025) of the religious new moon, a date appearing in the Chiourim calendar as Yom Kippur 2025.
That is, from Iyyar, 5, 2019 (May 9/10, 2019) to Tishri (Ethanim), 10, 2025 (October 1/2, 2025 (religious new moon)) = 2300 evenings and mornings. A date that remains to be monitored, as well as that of the astronomical new moon.
In conclusion of this very technical study, we can say that the three hypothetical dates are truly to be taken seriously. The two dates calculated on the basis of the astronomical new moon correspond exactly to 2300 evenings and mornings for the years 2026 and 2028, but do not correspond, to within a day, for the year 2025. However, it is adjusted on the basis of the calculation of the religious new moon. Incidentally, as for the year 2027/2028, it does not correspond to the period of 2300 evenings and mornings because there is the addition of the intercalary month (Adar II), in the spring of the year 2027.
However, in the study of the Metonic cycles and lunisolar years, the observation is the following: there is a 1-year gap and delay between the empirical Metonic system and the year-by-year verification, based on the autumnal equinox (see the detailed explanations above). The observation is the following: based on this year-by-year verification, the year 2025/2026 (autumn to autumn), should be lunisolar, but in the Metonic system applied by the classical Jewish calendars, it is not. This is the reason why the date of Tishri 10, 2025, was included in the chronological calculations. According to the classical Jewish calendars, the year 2026/2027 is considered lunisolar (with a one-year delay). This is why the date of Tishri 10, 2026, was included in the chronological calculations. Finally, in classical Jewish calendars, which empirically apply the Metonic system, the next lunisolar year will be 2029/2030. However, based on the date of the autumnal equinox, it should rather be the year 2028/2029 (fall to fall), which should logically be lunisolar. This is why the date of 10 Tishri, 2028, was included in the chronological calculations.
Ultimately, the year 2028 offers the most reliable option, with its two perfect correspondences with the 2300 evenings and mornings and the 1335 days, and furthermore, it is not shifted (unlike the dates of the lunisolar years 2026 and 2029):
September 27/28, 2028
Of course, the dates of the Tishri, 10, of previous years will be monitored. As Jesus Christ said, concerning the day and hour where there is no certainty. Therefore, it is appropriate to remain constantly spiritually vigilant (Revelation 3:3). The presentation of the chronological studies of the 2300 evenings and mornings, as well as the 1335 days, are part of the expression of this vigilance and it is an encouragement to remain so until the end: « But the one who has endured to the end will be saved » (Matthew 24:13). Further explanations will be given later, concerning the 1260, 1290 and 1335 days of Daniel’s prophecy, taking into account the current events (Daniel 12).
Now we have a better idea of the meaning of this prophecy of the 2300 days, showing that the situation in the Middle East is completely abnormal from God’s point of view. He disapproves of all the murderous violence, all the destruction and transgression of God’s laws (written in the Bible), generated by present-day Israel. In due time, the Heavenly Father will put an end to this transgression and restore the spiritual holy place to its right condition, in a Ethanim (Tishri), 10: « And I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the one speaking: “How long will the vision of the constant feature and of the transgression causing desolation continue, to make both the holy place and the army things to trample on?” So he said to me: “Until 2,300 evenings and mornings; and the holy place will certainly be restored to its right condition” » (Daniel 8:13,14).
Jesus Christ taught well that the future worldwide Israel will be spiritual and symbolic, encompassing all nations and languages, respecting their ethnic differences. Jesus Christ designated the future twelve tribes of Israel as being, for the most part, the millions, even billions of future earthly resurrected ones: « Jesus said to them: “Truly I say to you, in the re-creation, when the Son of man sits down on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will sit on 12 thrones, judging the 12 tribes of Israel » (Matthew 19:28). The true Israel is the Israel of God: « Peace and mercy be upon them, yes, upon the Israel of God » (Galatians 6:16).
In Psalm 80, Israel is compared to a vine: « You made a vine depart from Egypt. You drove out the nations and planted it » (Psalms 80:8-11). Years later, during his earthly ministry, Jesus Christ referred to himself as the vine and his followers as the branches: “I am the true vine, and my Father is the cultivator. 2 He takes away every branch in me not bearing fruit, and he cleans every one bearing fruit, so that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in union with me, and I will remain in union with you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you unless you remain in union with me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever remains in union with me and I in union with him, this one bears much fruit; for apart from me you can do nothing at all. 6 If anyone does not remain in union with me, he is thrown out like a branch and dries up. And men gather those branches and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you remain in union with me and my sayings remain in you, ask whatever you wish and it will take place for you. 8 My Father is glorified in this, that you keep bearing much fruit and prove yourselves my disciples. 9 Just as the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; remain in my love. 10 If you observe my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have observed the commandments of the Father and remain in his love” (John 15:1–10).
From now on, this vineyard of God with its branches constitutes the Israel of God, the Christian congregation (Galatians 6:16; Acts 11:26). This congregation or church is made up of both Jews in the flesh and people of all nations, with the spiritual circumcision of the heart (which represents obedience to God and to Christ (Deuteronomy 10:16)): “For not all who descend from Israel are really “Israel”” (Read Romans chapter 9 and 11:17–24; John 10:16). It is in this sense that at the end of the 2300 evenings and mornings, on a Tishri (Ethanim), 10, the holy place will be restored to its right condition (Daniel 8:13,14).

12 – The 1335 days (Daniel 12:12)
The 1335 Days, from Tebeth, 25 to Tishri, 10
« Happy is the one who keeps in expectation and who arrives at the 1,335 days! »
(Daniel 12:12)
This study will focus primarily on the 1335 days related to Ethanim (Tishri), 10, beginning the calculation with the latter date and working backward to the original date of the Hebrew biblical calendar.
This period lasts three years, six months (1260 days), 30 days (1290 days), and 45 days (1 month and 15 days) (1335 days). Thus, cumulatively, this period of 1335 days lasts three years, eight months, and 15 days.
Here is the Hebrew and Biblical lunisolar calendar, to understand the calculation:
The biblical Hebrew lunisolar calendar
First month: Nisan or Abib (in the Bible) (March-April) (30 days)
Second month: Iyyar or Ziv (in the Bible) (April-May) (29 days)
Third month: Sivan (May-June) (30 days)
Fourth month: Tammuz (June-July) (29 days)
Fifth month: Ab (July-August) (30 days)
Sixth month: Eloul (August-September) (29 days)
Seventh month: Tishri or Ethanim (in the Bible) (September-October) (30 days)
Eighth month: Hesvan or Bul (in the Bible) (October-November) (29 or 30 days)
Ninth month: Chislev (November-December) (29 or 30 days)
Tenth month: Tebeth (December-January) (29 days)
Eleventh month: Shebat (January-February) (30 days)
Twelfth month: Adar (February-March) (29 or 30 days)
Thirteenth month: Adar II or Veadar (29 days)
In the Hebrew lunisolar calendar, an intercalary month is regularly added to compensate for the 11-day difference between the lunar year (354 days) and the solar year (365 days). In this case, this year exceptionally has 13 months; it is a « lunisolar » year.
Using the Hebrew calendar above, we will proceed with the chronological calculation, without necessarily going back three years, because what matters is the origin date of this period:
Tishri, 10, minus 8 months (or 240 days) = Shebat, 10.
Reminder regarding the chronological calculation: for the number of days less than one month, or thirty days, as is the case in the prophecy of the 1335 days (15 days) and the 2300 days (20 days), the count is done day by day, taking into account, this time, the alternation between the month of 29 days and the month of thirty days. Regarding the 1335 days, it is the month of Tebeth that is concerned because it has only 29 days (see the Hebrew calendar above).
10 Shebat, minus 15 days (the calculation is detailed day by day): Shebat, 10 (15), Shebat, 9 (14), Shebat, 8 (13), Shebat, 7 (12), Shebat, 6 (11), Shebat, 5 (10), Shebat, 4 (9), Shebat, 3 (8), Shebat, 2 (7), Shebat, 1 (6), Tebeth, 29 (the month of Tebeth has only 29 days) (5), Tebeth, 28 (4), Tebeth, 27 (3), Tebeth, 26 (2), Tebeth, 26 (1).
Therefore, Tebeth, 25 is the date of the beginning of the period of 1335 days, and ends three years, 8 months, and 15 days later, on the 10th of Tishri. Does this date have any biblical meaning or significance in Jewish religious customs? This full date does not appear in the Bible. The month of Tebeth is referred in the Bible as the tenth month. There was a fast in the tenth month, in the month of Tebeth (Zechariah 8:19). The fast was observed as a sign of mourning, perhaps, in this case, to commemorate the fall of Jerusalem at the hands of the Babylonian armies (2 Kings 25:1; Ezekiel 24:1,2; 33:21). Since this date does not appear directly in the Bible, it must be sought in Jewish religious tradition based both on the Bible (the Torah) and the Talmud (commentary on the Torah).
In this case, the date of Tebeth, 25, is a commemorative day, called Parsha Vaera, which celebrates the liberation of the people of Israel from slavery in Egypt (Exodus 6:2 to 9:35). Therefore, without being dogmatic, one could think that the Tebeth, 25, which celebrates the release of God’s people from slavery in Egypt, is entirely in line with the message of encouragement linked to the end of the 1,335 days: « Happy is the one who keeps in expectation and who arrives at the 1,335 days! » (Daniel 12:12).
Jesus Christ described the end of this system of things as a liberation: « But as these things start to occur, stand up straight and lift up your heads, because your deliverance is getting near » (Luke 21:28). The proclamation of the Jubilee and the liberation of slaves in Israel took place on the 10th of Tishri, the tenth day of the seventh month (Leviticus 25:8-12). Therefore, one could say that the date of the 10th of Tishri, the end of the 1335 days, echoes the date of the 25th of Tebeth, the beginning of this period of 1335 days, and which also celebrates a liberation.
The 1335 Days in Our Time
This part of the study will be similar to that of the prophecy of the 2300 evenings and mornings, comparing it with the three hypothetical dates of the 10th of Tishri. Initially, we will rely exclusively on the Hebrew calendar, with the religious new moon, to verify whether the 1335 days beginning on the 25th of Tebeth end on the Yom Kippur of year n+3. Here are the three hypothetical dates, in the religious new moon:
Calculation of the 1335 days with Yom Kippur on Tishri 10, 2025: October 1/2, 2025, starting from Tebeth 25, 2022:
Tebeth, 25 (for the year 2022) (December 29, 2021) + 3 years = Tebeth, 25, 2025.
Tebeth, 25, 2025 (January 25, 2025) + 8 months = Elul 25, 2025.
Reminder regarding chronological calculation: for the number of days less than one month, or thirty days, as is the case in the prophecy of the 1335 days (15 days) and the 2300 days (20 days), the count is done day by day, taking into account, this time, the alternation between the month of 29 days and the month of thirty days. Regarding the 1335 days, it is the month of Elul that is affected because it has only 29 days (see the Hebrew calendar, above).
Elul, 25, 2025 (September 18, 2025) + 15 days = Elul, 25 (1) + Elul, 26 (2) + Elul, 27 (3) + Elul, 28 (4) + Elul, 29 (5) (the month of Elul has only 29 days) + Tishri, 1 (6) + Tishri, 2 (7) + Tishri, 3 (8) + Tishri, 4 (9) + Tishri, 5 (10) + Tishri, 6 (11) + Tishri, 7 (12) + Tishri, 8 (13) + Tishri, 9 (14) + Tishri, 10 (15) 2025 (1/2 October 2025). The calculation of the 1335 days for the 10th of Tishri 2025, corresponds to the Hebrew calendar, as well as for the years 2026 and 2028 (Yom Kippur of the 10th of Tishri 2026: September 20/21, 2026; Yom Kippur of the 10th of Tishri 2028: September 29/30, 2028). This calculation is made on the basis of the religious new moon, which, in this case, is 1 day behind the date, compared to the astronomical new moon. The chronological calculation of the 1335 days that will follow, this time, will be made from the astronomical new moon, in order to see if it coincides with the three dates of the 10th of Tishri (2025, 2026 and 2028).
It would be advisable to test this period based on the astronomical new moon, to the day and hour, to determine the appropriate date to begin the count. The three hypothetical dates based on the astronomical new moon are listed below. They are generally 1 day ahead of the classical Jewish Hebrew calendar (these three dates have been astronomically verified, to the day and hour):
Ethanim (Tishri), 10, 2025: September 30, 2025/October 1, 2025 (astronomical new moon) (only 1 day ahead of the religious new moon date). In order to test the three dates, it will be enough to start from the count of the last 15 days (of the 1335 days), basing it on the astronomical new moon, which precedes them, that is to say the astronomical new moon of Elul, 1, 2025, to then obtain the Elul, 25, (starting point of the last 15 days): The astronomical new moon of August 2025, is August 23, 2025 at 8:07 am. Therefore, it must be counted between the *two evenings of August 23/24, counting as Elul, 1. To this date of August, 24, we must add 25 days starting from August 24 and we arrive at September 16/17, 2025, which represents the 25 Elul based on the astronomical new moon.
* The expression « between two evenings » means between sunset and sunrise, the time when the moon is generally visible (with the exception of the new moon).
Now, we must count 15 additional days, starting with the date of September 16/17 (the date is calculated in ordinal days), to check if we arrive at the date of Tishri, 10, based on the astronomical new moon. We arrive at the date of September 30/October 1, 2025, which corresponds, day for day, to the evaluated date.
Ethanim (Tishri), 10, 2026: September 19/20, 2026 (astronomical new moon) (only 1 day ahead of the religious new moon date). Day and time of the astronomical new moon in August 2026, corresponding to Elul, 1: August 12, 7:37 p.m. Therefore, it occurs between the two evenings of August 12 and 13, 2026. Elul, 1, is August 12/13, 2026, adding 25 days from this date gives September 5/6, 2026, which corresponds to Elul, 25, 2026 (based on the astronomical new moon). 15 days must be added starting from the date of September 5/6, 2026, to arrive at the result: September 19/20, 2026. This corresponds to the estimated date. Which means that this date, based on the astronomical new moon, corresponds day for day.
Ethanim (Tishri), 10, 2028: September 27/28, 2028 (astronomical new moon) (only 1 day ahead of the religious new moon date (above)). Day and time of the astronomical new moon in August 2028, corresponding to Elul, 1: August 20, 12:44 p.m. Therefore, it must be counted between the two evenings of August 20 and 21, 2028. Elul, 1, is August 20/21, 2028, add 25 days from this date and we arrive at September 13/14, 2028, which corresponds to Elul, 25, 2028 (based on the astronomical new moon). We need to add 15 days starting from the date of September 13/14, 2028, to arrive at the result: September 27/28, 2028. This corresponds to the estimated date.
To conclude the two chronological calculations, the two periods of 2300 evenings and mornings (Daniel 8:13, 14) and 1335 days (Daniel 12:12), based on the three dates of the 10th of Tishri (astronomical new moon), the results are as follows:
10th of Tishri (astronomical new moon) 2025: September 30/October 1, 2025.
The period of 2300 evenings and mornings: the calculation does not correspond to this date (it has an additional date of 1 day, namely October 1/2, 2025 (see calculation of 2300 evenings and mornings)).
The period of 1335 days: the calculation corresponds to the date above.
10th of Tishri (astronomical new moon) 2026: September 19/20, 2026.
The period of 2300 Evenings and mornings: the calculation corresponds to the date above.
The period of 1335 days: the calculation corresponds to the date above.
10 Tishri (astronomical new moon) 2028: September 27/28, 2028.
The period of 2300 evenings and mornings: the calculation corresponds to the date above.
The period of 1335 days: the calculation corresponds to the date above.
Thus, the dates 10 Tishri 2026 and 10 Tishri 2028 are truly to be taken into consideration. These are two dates whose years should be lunisolar.

13 – From the advent of the last king, to the revelation of the man of lawlessness
(…)
The apostasy within Christian congregations, appeared after the death of the apostles in accordance with the prophecy of Jesus Christ, in Matthew 13:24-30,37-43 (« While men were sleeping » (verse 24), is the death of the apostles who made ramparts against this apostasy within the Christian Congregation).
The man of lawlessness, the son of destruction, is a unique man, as was Judas Iscariot, whom Jesus Christ also called « son of destruction » (« son of destruction » (John 17:12)). The apostle Paul has appointed, « the man of lawlessness » of the prophecy of Daniel 8:23-25, for several reasons. The prophecy of Daniel mentions the existence of an arrogant and intriguing king, who would reveal himself, « when the transgressors act to a completion ».
Moreover, the apostle Paul described him by the expression, « son of destruction », which is quite in keeping with the prophetic narrative of Daniel, for two reasons: This last king is described as whom will sow destruction, including among the people of God: « His power will become great, but not through his own power. He will even stand up against the Prince of princes, but he will be broken without human hand » (Daniel 8:24,25). Also, the second reason, the prophecy of Daniel 8:25b, mentions that this king will be directly destroyed by the King Jesus Christ: « He will even stand up against the Prince of princes, but he will be broken without human hand » ( Daniel 8:25b). The apostle Paul repeated exactly the same information: « Then, indeed, the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will do away with by the spirit of his mouth and bring to nothing by the manifestation of his presence » (2 Thessalonians 2:8 ). There is no doubt that the apostle Paul was referring to this intriguing and destructive king, to the revelation of the « man of lawlessness ».
14 – « The appointed time arrived for the holy ones to take possession of the kingdom »
(Daniel 7:22)

The Great Prince Michael Saves the Holy Ones
« During that time Michael will stand up, the great prince who is standing in behalf of your people. And there will occur a time of distress such as has not occurred since there came to be a nation until that time. And during that time your people will escape, everyone who is found written down in the book » (Daniel 12:1).
Before the remnant of the Heavenly Holy Ones on earth, reign with King Jesus Christ, the prophecy of Daniel, announces that they will suffer a short time of persecution from the last king of the current world power, alongside the earthly Holy Ones: « And by his cunning he will use deception to succeed; and in his heart he will exalt himself; and during a time of security he will bring many to ruin. He will even stand up against the Prince of princes, but he will be broken without human hand” (Daniel 8:25). This persecution, which has already started on a world level, was also announced in the prophecy of Ezekiel 38 and 39, of Gog of Magog.
At the end of the 1335 days and 2300 days, the heavenly Holy Ones will take possession of the kingdom. The complete number is 144,000 Heavenly Holy Ones, according to the book of Revelation (14:1-5). These 144,000 kings and priests will represent as a group, the New Jerusalem, which will establish paradisiacal conditions on the earth: « And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. I also saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”” (Revelation 21:1-4).
